At ALTER farm school, we believe in nurturing the innate curiosity and wonder of young minds through an outdoor nature curriculum that centers around our beloved horses. Our innovative approach to preschool education focuses on providing children with a holistic wellness experience, ensuring they develop not just academically but also emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We use a holistic, whole-being approach to learning, gleaning from wild and free, exploring nature with children, five in a row, blossom and root, Charlotte Mason, and Montessori.

Outdoor Nature Holistic Wellness:
We promote a holistic approach to learning and development, incorporating mindfulness practices, yoga, healthy eating habits, and other wellness activities to support children's overall well-being. Nature and animal based play and tasks create a foundation of self-respect, love, patience, and desire to ca
Outdoor Nature Holistic Wellness:
We promote a holistic approach to learning and development, incorporating mindfulness practices, yoga, healthy eating habits, and other wellness activities to support children's overall well-being. Nature and animal based play and tasks create a foundation of self-respect, love, patience, and desire to care for one another. Daily rhythms will include movement, nurtured academics, animals, cooking, gardening, integrated art, science experiments, and wellness with life skills.
Horse-Centered Learning: Our horse-based curriculum allows children to develop a special bond with these magnificent animals, fostering a sense of empathy, confidence, and respect. Through interactions with horses, children learn valuable life skills such as patience, communication, and emotional regulation.
Our experienced and dedicated teachers are committed to helping students achieve their goals. They are passionate about teaching and are always looking for new and innovative ways to help students learn.
